Time for an update
It´s over three weeks now since I´ve been back home and I´m back to my life here. Amazing how fast it goes. I started working at my dad´s office and will do that for the next two month, I guess. It´s good work, good money and it keeps me busy. :-)
Besides I sorted out my life and my future. Sent a few applications for Master Studies in Germany but I will also stick to my plan to apply for Master Studies in New Zealand... just to have another opportunity.. It´s as I expected it to be: It was good to come back home but after a couple of days I´ve already started to think about new travel plans. There is still so much I want to see.
Ok, so what happened in the last three weeks. Just one day after I arrived I went to a concert of my favorite Band... DIE TOTEN HOSEN! Beyond question: It was great! Must have been the 8th time I saw them live - and I still love it! Jumping around in front of the stage and counting my bruises after it´s over.
A week after that, on the 14th, Tondela came to stay with me for a couple of days. So nice to see her again, after she became a really good friend of mine while travelling together in New Zealand for two weeks. We had four awesome days together. Did a bit of sightseeing in Hannover, went out one night (oh my good...what a night... til 5 in the morning) and I even took her to the German countryside to my grandma´s place to have some coffee and cake. :-) (My grandma was fantastic in trying to comunicate with Tondela without knowing any word of Englisch. "Kaffee? Yes, coffee, please.")
I also spent a lot of time with making a photo album with my NZ pictures. Took me 5 hours or so... but it looks really nice now and the pictures are awesome. It´s like being back in NZ everytime I show them to somebody and tell the stories behind them.
If you haven´t seen it yet, I uploaded a the my last pictures from New Zealand in the gallery. Of course there are lots more - but you have to come and visit me to see them, now that I put so much effort in finishing the album! :-)
Well, so far my update. Nothing really spectacular - but I guess that is what I enjoy at the moment: back to normal life. The future is still going to be interesting!
But first my parents, my brother, a friend of my brother and me are going to Sylt next Thursday for a short vacation. I hope the weather will be fine. Had more rainy days than sunny days since I´m back... :-/
